About Broussard Home Services

Broussard Home Services was established in 2015 after the founder of the company, Phillip Broussard, realized how difficult it was to get ahold of local area contractors.

Phillip has a background in construction and has been apart of the industry since he was 14 years old, starting out as an apprentice for his uncle’s company. When Phillip opened the doors of BHS, it consisted of two friends, himself, and big dreams for the future.

The business has now grown into an established and trusted organization that has three divisions, and spans the entire Greater Puget Sound region.

From large scale new construction projects to custom home builds, commercial projects and roofing, and everything in between – BHS has you covered.

We know firsthand how difficult it can be to find a contractor. We answer our phones, call you back, and show up on time, every time.

At Broussard Home Services, we work hard for YOU.

What do you like about working for Broussard Home Services?
I started working for Broussard Home Services about 2 years ago. I started my employment here on their remodeling side. – doing install and renovations. This was a good fit for me due to my background in construction. I started at a young age working alongside and learning from my father who is a 4th generation carpenter and I have carried on that tradition, as I hope my son Noah will.
What is your background?
I have experience in most facets of carpentry as well as building inspections. After working for many general contractors over the years I decided to expand my knowledge by becoming a licensed home inspector – which I did for about 4 years. I learned many new sides to construction, including the “right” and “wrong” way to do things. Although I enjoyed this new field, I did end up going back to remodeling which is where I found Phillip Broussard and his awesome team.
What are the values that drive and motivate you?
Whatever I do in life, I strive to do “it” the best way I can.  I like to think of each new project as if it were my own and ensure that the final product is something that I would be proud of. Doing the best job you can sometimes takes more time, energy, and focus – but the pay off is well worth the investment!
My motivation in life is my son Noah. He is 5 years old and is full of energy. Noah has a personality that is developed well beond his years and is one of the smartest kids I have met. Noah and I enjoy fishing, crabbing, and exploring the outdoors. He loves animals and shows special care and love when handling anything from a tiny beetle to one of our two cats! This is something that my wife Amanda instilled in him from a young age. Although she is no longer with us, I can see her every time I look at our amazing son!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

My current position at Broussard is roofing production manager.  I have found great satisfaction in this new position and enjoy sharing my knowledge with my team as well as each customer I meet. The amount of careful planning, precise timing, and open communication are just a few of the skills that I have been able to grow while in this position . I hold myself and Broussard to a very high standard and enjoy seeing the look on my customers face when they see a job well done!

What do you like about working for Broussard Home Services?
As an estimator, I’ve done thousands of roof and attic inspections for folks, and many of them have told me about negative experiences they’ve had in home improvements, either in dealing with a high-pressure salesperson or having a project suddenly become very expensive once it’s already under way. The origin of BHS is as a custom home builder, and Phil Broussard’s goal is, and has always been, to be the most trusted name in home improvements. When I give someone an estimate as a representative of Broussard Home Services, I have full confidence that what I discuss with the customer is exactly what will happen during installation. If it doesn’t, it will be made right, immediately and without the costs being pushed onto the customer. This is important to me, because when people trust you with their home and their money, you owe it to them to take responsibility for the quality of your work.
What is your background?
I have been working in various segments of the construction industry as a consultant and estimator since 2015. I began working exclusively with roofing in 2018.
What are the values that drive and motivate you?
Quality is my core value. Quality can and should be pursued in all aspects of life and is something that, although hard to define, is obvious when inspecting work that was done with care and expertise. Another value that is incredibly important to me as a salesperson is honesty. Nothing is more frustrating for homeowners than hearing completely different information from each company you talk to. Company’s create narratives to make their products seem like the best option, which is disrespectful to the homeowner’s buying process. There are downsides and upsides to every product, from the cheapest to the most expensive- otherwise they wouldn’t be sold! There are many times where I’ve helped a homeowner compare products honestly and been told how relieved they were for the experience. This is how it should be for everyone.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I’m still looking at roofs, much to my wife’s annoyance! But when there aren’t any roofs around, I enjoy writing music and playing guitar, trying new board games with my wife and friends, and seeing my family.

What do you like about working for Broussard Home Services?

I enjoy being employed and having a career at Broussard home services, because of the team being built and the energy within the individuals on that team. The way understandability is at a high level makes being employed here feel prosperous and promising for a future.

What is your background?

Started my career out as barely knowing how to read a tape measure some years ago, or knowing the difference between saws. Got a fine taste of hard work and being in the trades and since have not looked back. I have seen many roofs in the past and many different scenarios in repairing most things, keeping my head down and figuring out a solution to make things work properly and look great is what I love!

What are the values that drive and motivate you?

Motivation and drive are two very fine thanks I owe to my family, to my kiddos in my life that make it easy to be a better me than I was yesterday. This keeps me wanting to succeed in every aspect I can in life. Focusing on a bigger and better future for them, is a part of being able to show up day in and day out and work best that I can as a employee so I can only give hope my children pick up where I left off being their best day to day.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy most being a father when the time is given and thanks to Broussards I have been able to focus a lot more time on trying to make sure this happens. Winter is my jam and snowboarding is a must, you combine snowboarding with family and life is at a peak!

“Phillip and his crew are amazing. We had a complete kitchen remodel and flooring through-out the house and they did a beautiful job. We also hired them to replace our roof and they did a beautiful job. Would definitely hire them again!”
